What kind of software would I need to make my own music video?

I have been on web site such as Youtube and GodTube

I have seem some videos playing with pics going on with a music playing that repersent what the video was about

I was kind of wondering if anyone know a software were I can make my own?

    Windows movie maker is great if you have windows imovie for macs and there probably is something for linux
