on the back of tjhe … on the back of tjhe mixer there should be a volume controle for the USB sound. Also try the windows mixer and bring up the volume to a high level then you can use the volume controls on the mixer. With the latency thats normal, the built in sound card on the mixer isn’t the most high end, or you would be paying a lot more for the mixer. There is a device called an AISO driver. It is software based and what it does is take the audio from the sound card and then route it itself so its much faster.

i have a brand new peavey pv6 usb mixer, a sterling phantom power sterling condenser mic and im using a dell inspiron 1525 laptop with an intel core 2 duo processor and using adobe audution and i get so much latency and noise plus the audio is crap!!! any pointers on how to improve the sound? also the volume of the voice aint loud enough!! thanks in advanced! you rock!
