Hello i did …
Hello i did everything according to your video but there’s a problem.The mic is working but while in recording process there’s no signal and the Asio soundcard doesn’t even detect my mic.I tried 3 softwares which are Fruitty loops,Audacity and Mixcraft all latest versions.The mixer is a 6 channel non powered and it’s working too.What could be the problem?

Make sure your interface is USB. Then you could plug it in directly to your USB ports on your computer.

I tested it with unpowered mixers.
This is just an alternative for USB Audio Interfaces, so if you don’t want to spend your money on those, you could use this method. But if you want it easy, you could use the USB Audio interfaces.

Yes, if you’re into …
Yes, if you’re into freeware, I’d recommend Audacity. It has all the basic things need for a recording program.
If you’re into more of an advanced interface, I’d recommend Cakewalk, Sony Acid, or Adobe Audition.
